A 34-year-old man has been arrested after his successful artist mother and stepfather were gunned down during Thanksgiving dinner in front of horrified relatives.
Dustin Ray Dixon has been charged with two counts of murder after painter Ellen DeLoach, 60, and husband Michael 'Brad' Deloach, 58, were found slain in their Acworth, Georgia, home on Thursday.
The couple were celebrating the holiday with two other family members at their four bedroom, $270,000 home, at 7pm when the deadly incident unfolded.

Police said the pair escaped without injury and were 'frantic' when detectives interviewed them in the aftermath
Neighbors, who were having their meal when the shots were fired, told FOX 5 Atlanta they heard gunshots while they were sitting at the dinner table while one said they saw a woman running down the street and screaming in fearing of her life.
Police arrived at the scene and arrested Dixon without incident on the front lawn and was taken into custody.
Detectives discovered Mrs DeLoach's body on the porch while her husband was found dead inside.
According to Facebook the pair got married in December 2010. Mrs DeLoach has at least one daughter and a grandson.
Mentor and friend Michael David paid tribute to Mrs DeLoach in an online obituary.
He said: 'She believed in painting as something that had redemptive power and could help people.'

David told the Atlanta Constitution Journal Mrs DeLoach had only started to take her painting seriously six or seven years ago.
She came under David's wing through his Fine Arts Atelier, a program meant to highlight and further develop the work of 'marginalized' artists, many women over 50 years old
In an interview with the Constitution Journal in 2011, Mrs DeLoach said she got married young and overcame breast cancer at 34.
She added that her first painting she did was of a fruit bowl in high school.
'I keep it as a reminder of where I've been and where I am today,' she said.
Dixon is being held without bond and has been charged with charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Police are still searching for a possible motive.
